I am passionate about parenting and birth. Supporting people as a Birth Doula in the greater Madison area is an opportunity to offer my skills, knowledge and compassion. As a Doula, I offer physical, emotional and educational support, helping families make informed choices that only they can make.
As a queer parent, birth worker, and active member in my community, I believe all genders, sexualities, family orientations, race, colors of skin, and religions should be given the same care within our healthcare system. With systemic racism, homophobia and other forms of prejudices present, I feel strongly that a lot of my work is fueled by social justice. It's crucial that we treat ALL PEOPLE with massive Respect and Reverence during this time.
I believe in the innate wisdom, courage, and strength a person has to believe in themselves to walk through powerful moments in life. I feel absolutely honored to be able to help families through this journey of Birth. Absolutely honored.
