Margaret is a Doula's Doula.
It was a blessing to have her at my births. She embodies the true meaning of birth keeper. I want her to be my Doula at every threshold and every life changing transformation. "
-Lynsey, mama of 4

Birth is sacred, sweaty, and spectacular. I’m here for the joy and the mess.
I show up with strong hands and a strong heart. I believe birth can be wild and holy at the same time.
I’m here to help you learn and honor your path.
I bring evidence in one hand and reverence in the other.
You’ll get support that centers your values, your body, and your baby.
What I do / What you would get
-
Two Prenatal visits that prepare you. Birth physiology explained simply, decision-making tools, comfort techniques you’ll practice, and partner support. This time together is about education, but also about building a professional relationship that ensures that at the time of birth and labor, I’m familiar and bring a sense of comfort to you when I walk in the room. That is my ultimate goal. 2.5-3 hours/meeting.
-
On call 24 / 7 near and after your due date. We discuss at every visit when to call me, and options for when I start supporting families at the labor.
-
Available via email, phone, or text the moment we begin working together, until you're feeling confident in your parenting, weeks after your baby is born.
-
Provide on-call backup of an experienced Birth Doula from the Madison Doula Collective if an emergency arises and I cannot make it.
-
I offer continuous birth support. I bring a calm presence, pain-relief techniques (counterpressure, hip squeezes, water, heat, breath), position changes, environment-setting, and advocacy coaching so your voice leads the room. The best way I can be your advocate is by helping you advocate for yourselves. I do not do this work to keep you safe or protect you. In contrast, it’s a much more enjoyable birth to help create a collaborative environment with your birth team that feels safe.
-
I translate options, timelines, and protocols into plain language so you can choose what resonates. Support partner support. I can help your partner feel comfortable and involved—showing them how to help and when to rest. If you are not partnered, I gotchu.
-
Offer of photos taken during labor and Birth. No editing.
-
Two postpartum visits after the birth to debrief and help with newborn care and a feeding plan. Continue to be available via email, phone, or text throughout this postpartum period. In-home visits focused on recovery, feeding support (chest/breast/bottle), baby basics, sleep strategies, and the emotional waves that can come during this time. I offer resources & referrals. Lactation pros, pelvic floor PTs, mental health, bodyworkers, and parent groups. My hope is to ensure you know I’m still in your corner, cheering you on, reminding you that you are doing the Biggest Job on the Planet.
